Lesson 1 - Repeated Addition
 
  • Multiplication is repeated addition.
    • What this means is multiplication is a fast way of adding a series of numbers.
        
    • 3 x 5 means to add 3 together 5 times or
      3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3  
        
    • 6 x 4 means 6 added together 4 times or
      6 + 6 + 6 + 6
        
    • Here are a few more multiplication facts.
