Fairy Fun Land - Multiplication Math Game

Content Skill: Multiplication          Common Core State Standards: CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.C.7 - Fluently multiply within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division or properties of operations.  By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.


Have fun in fairy land.  In this multiplication game, kids practice a set of multiplication problems then get to decorate a fairy land.  Practice the times tables while having fairy fun!


From the opening screen, choose the facts families your would like to practice.  Level 0-5 has the zero, one, two, three, and four fact families.  Level 2-9 lets kids practice the two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and nine fact families.  Level 3-12 has the three through twelve fact families.  Click on the level to begin the game.


Here is where kids practice the times tables.  The child chooses from the correct answer from the 5 answers shown at the bottom of the screen.  The number correct and wrong are tallied on the right side of the screen.  Each time the child gets and answer correct, a new decoration is added to the screen. 

When you have completed the equations, you reach the congratulations screen.  Click START DECORATING to begin decorating your own fairy funland.

Here is where you get to have fun!  There are two bars of decorations.  One on the right on the screen and the other on the bottom.  Drag the decoration you would like to add to the screen by simply dragging them from the decoration bar to the screen.   When you have completed your fairy scene, simply click MENU to go back to the opening menu or START OVER to clear the screen and design a new fairly scene.
