Snagger's Pond - Multiplication Math Game
Content Skill: Multiplication Common Core State Standards: CCSS.Math.Content.3.OA.C.7 - Fluently multiply within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
Help Snagger the fish get his dinner and then help him find his way home in this fun math game. While you are lending a hand to Snagger you are also learning the times tables. Practicing the multiplication facts is fun playing this free math game.
So grab your pole and let's get started.
The opening screen is where you meet Snagger. Click on PLAY to begin the game.
Choose the fact family or group of fact families you would like to practice.
Kids are fishing for the correct answer. Help them by clicking on the correct answer to the multiplication problem at the bottom of the page. Watch out for Snagger swimming by.
After you have correctly answered 25 multiplication problems, it is time to help Snagger get home. Steer Snagger by using the arrow keys on your computer keyboard. The up arrow gets Snagger to swim forward. The left and right keys steer him left and right. If you want him to slow down or swim backward, use the down arrow.
Maneuver through the underwater vegetation and animals. The track leading home is darker brown. Be sure and keep Snagger on the track.
The checkered finish line means Snagger made it home safely. You have helped Snagger and also practiced the times tables.
