- The commutative property of multiplication simply means it does not
matter which number is first when you write the problem. The answer
is the same.
- 3 x 5 = 5 x 3 (The numbers can be switched
around and the answer is the same.)
- 4 x 7 = 7 x 4
- 1 x 9 = 9 x 1
