Lesson 1 - Repeated Addition
The zero multiplication facts
Multiplication is repeated addition so:
0 x 3 = 0 + 0 + 0
= 0
0 x 7 = 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0
= 0
Because of the commutative property of multiplication:
0 x 4 = 4 x 0
= 0
0 x 9 = 9 x 0
= 0
Any number times zero is always zero!
