Celeste was working with a high school student who was "facing division problems, fractions, and factoring, and she did not have the basic tools" - the 1st of which was her multiplication facts! 

Jenga Multiplication

In this multiplication version, students play the game pretty much the same as a regular game of Jenga.

Multiplication War is a card game that has been around since I can remember and, since I am now 40-years-old, that is debatably a long time.  ;)  But I'm still young next to this long-loved game.  

Card games are the fool proof way to get kids learning math because kids love to ditch the paper and pencil now and again.

In this math activity, we used a math foldable to practice polygons! 

All students need for this activity is a blank white sheet of paper, colored pencils or markers, a ruler and scissors.

Buzz Plus Number Game

Number Buzz Plus is a group math game that will help your students remember the multiples of the numbers 2 through 9 in no time at all!  It requires little to no materials, and can be done without any preparation.  Some teachers love to have an educational game they can pull from their sleeve when they have 5-10 minutes to spare.  This is one of those games, and it's fun!
