Fraction Action by Loreen Leedy is a bright and colorful story which makes fractions so easy for kids to understand.

This story of a teacher named Miss Prime teaching her classroom lessons about fractions is excellent for children ages 5-8 years old.

Miss Prime teaches the children practical examples of fractions, like a half a sandwich or a piggy bank being half full.

Fraction Action goes on to introduce addition and subtraction of fractions and comparing the value's of fractions.

The last section of the book gives the reader math problems to practice what they have learned with the answers at the back of the book.

This book did a great job of incorporating just enough silly to keep the kids reading and broke down fractions in a way that was helpful and fun!
