Granny Prix Multi-Player - Subtraction Math Game
Content Skill: Subtraction
Common Core State Standards: CCSS.Math.Content.2.OA.B.2 - Fluently subtract within 20 using mental strategies. By end of Grade 2, know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.

This screen allows you to customize your granny racer! There are five buttons that let you customize your racer. They are:
Each time one of these buttons is clicked, you'll see your granny change. When you're done customizing your racer, hit the "DONE" button.
The login screen is where you pick the username that will be shown to all the other players in the game. You'll notice in the bottom right corner there is a connection status indicator. This will display the current status of your connection to the game server. You must be able to connect to the game server in order to play the game. If you have trouble connecting, make sure your network administrator can verify that ports 9933 or 8080 are not restricted. multiplication.com utilizes two layers of bad word checking in our online games, and we're always looking for new ways to keep our users safe. After you log in, you'll see the list of games that are about to start. These are games that other users have created. Games allow up to four people to play in a single game, but you must join a game before it starts automatically. You can create a new game by clicking the "Create Game" button.
Once a user creates a new game, it will start automatically in 10 seconds. If no users join the newly created game, the game server will add computer players instead.
Once the game starts you'll be shown a series of subtraction questions. Answer them by clicking the correct answer box underneath the problem. Get the question correct and you'll move ahead! Get the question wrong and you'll move backward. After you complete all the problems, the game is over. First one done wins!
Once the game is over, you can see the trophy you won and the results of the other three players. Because this game focuses on completing the math problems, the game does not end for each player until they finish answering all required questions. To play again, simply click the "Play Again" button.
