So, I love to cook for my family and I love to get them involved.
This is a real easy, real yummy recipe to make and it will be gone in seconds! My kids recently made some for their school class parties and no one brought home left overs.
Cooking is a great way to familiarize your kids with fractions, measuring and family time.
You will need:
1/2 cup popcorn (un-popped kernels)
4 tablespoons butter (more of less depending on taste buds)
2 Tbls sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
salt to taste
1/2-1 cup marshmallows (optional)
Pop the corn in air popper. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with the sugar and cinnamon. If you are adding marshmallows, put them in the bottom of bowl before popping. This makes them nice and warm and a bit gooey. Adjust this recipe to your taste buds. Add more or less of any ingredient.
