Well, there is no denying that summer is fast approaching!
Most of us are thinking about how we are going to squeeze the rest of the school year into just 4 weeks! Less than 30 days... EEEK!
While summers are usually filled with fun, busy activities and visits from family, there is often some down time when kids are ask, "what can I do? You can take advantage of these down times with some wonderful educational opportunities for kids to stay on top of school. With just a few minutes a day, kids can avoid the "summer slide".
If you might be looking for a few great activities or ways to encourage some math practice this summer, look no further. We have put together a "Do-it-Yourself" Math Incentive Program consisting of a Super Summer Worksheet Packet and a Multiplication Bingo Activity that you can implement with your family.
Rewards are a great way to encourage kids to complete these fun activities. You choose: You can have your child finish a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row, or you can have them finish the entire card (what is called a blackout) for an even heftier prize! You can even ask your child for some great reward ideas. How about a trip to the sno-cone shack, an ice cream, a summer movie, or maybe even a new book?
Print off and share this fun Bingo Math Reward Card as often as you like! Make sure to also print off the Super Summer Worksheet Packet for some extra summer math fun!
