August is Family Fun Month!
What could be more fun after an active Summer weekend than a family movie night under the stars?!?!
We love to set up the projector in the backyard at my parent's cabin, let the kids get comfortable, pass around the popcorn and watch our favorite family movies.
With kids ranging in age between 3 and 16, we typically watch the G rated movies first, and then put on the big kid movies after the little ones have fallen asleep.
Sometimes, the little ones get so excited for movie night, they take their seats long before the movie starts!
With a bonfire behind us to keep us warm, we always make sure to make some s'mores and roast some Starburst.
If you just said, WHAT?!?!?! Roasted Starburst? You have got to try it! Just take a Starburst candy, put it on the end of a stick and let it roast in the fire until it is warm and gooey!
Crunchy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside, yes, roasted Starburst are the best!
ORRRRR......If you are in the mood for something salty and crunchy, you can make our favorite Parmesan Ranch Snack Mix from Averie Cooks.
You can find the recipe here. But, back to movie night!
