Pirates II - Subtraction

Pirates II is a fantastic high seas platform game. This free online game will have you running, jumping, and dodging over all sorts of different pirate items. You'll have lots of fun while also learning your subtraction facts! Be sure to look for our multiplication and addition versions of this game!

So grab your hat and let's set sail for learning!

 

Step 1
Click the "Play" button to get started.

 

Step 2
Here you can choose your character. Click on either a boy pirate or girl pirate.

 

Step 3
Click on the fact family or families that you would like to practice and then when you're ready, click the "DONE" button.

 

Step 4
Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to help maneuver your pirate through the levels. Watch out for mud balls and crabs! Collect all of the glowing items and hang the pirate flag to finish the level. Click the "START" button to continue.

 

Step 5
Here's where the pirate fun begins! You'll notice there are pirate items floating in the air with a white glow about them. When your pirate runs into one of these items, you'll have to solve a subtraction problem. Use the spacebar to jump over items.

 

Step 6
Use the number keys on your keyboard to enter the right answer for the subtraction problem and then hit the enter key to submit your answer.

 

Step 7
After you have correctly answered all the subtraction problems, you can raise the flag! Click the "OK" button to go to the next level.

 

Step 8
If you run into a mud ball or a crab, you will lose a life. Try not to lose all of your lives, you'll need to start the game over!

 

Step 9
When you have finished all the levels your pirate booty will be safe and sound! Click "Play Again" to start the game again.
