Tony's Tires - Subtraction

Get ready to RACE! But before you can race your car, you will need to buy 5 tires. Each tire will cost you $200 and you earn $25 for each correct answer to a subtraction fact. After you earn enough for the five tires, you get to race your car around the speedway!

 

Step 1
Welcome to the shop! To begin earning money to buy tires, click on "Go."

 

Step 2
The first step is the choose the subtraction fact families you would like to practice. Choose an individual or group of fact families.

 

Step 3
Click on the tire displaying the correct answer to the subtraction problem. Eight correct answers will buy you a tire.

 

Step 4
You have earned enough money for a tire! Use the air wrench to put the lug nuts on by clicking on where they go on the tire.

 

Step 5
Each time you earn a new tire, it will tell you how many more you need to purchase before you can race.

 

Step 6
When you have purchased 5 tires, it is time to race! Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move your car through the course.

 

Step 7
You get to race your car around the track three times. The counter in the upper left corner will tell you what lap you are on, what your best lap time was and what the time is on your current lap.

 

Step 8
When you have finished, click anywhere on the screen to begin the game again!
